Ruby MVM

Hey Tony! It occurred to me today you'd probably be interested in the
Ruby MVM work being done on a branch of 1.9. Since you've played with
Rubinius's MVM and because of your Revactor work on 1.9, there's a lot
of commonality.

Tom Enebo and I met with Koichi and Nobu to discuss their status, and it
sounds like they're pretty far along. Global state has largely been
offloaded to per-VM structures, and there's basic APIs for creating and
launching VMs.

If you're interested, maybe you could get on the ruby-mvm list and check
out the mvm branch in the ruby-lang repository. And of course pop into
ko1 and his team on this.
